Hellooooo Facebook! That's right, I took the plunge - it was high time this Mrs. joined the social media sponge! While it's not a revolutionary change, I thought it worthy of a mention - since there are so many of you looped into that particular connection. Mrs. Makeup : Al naturale

She's that Mrs. you secretly love to hate - she seemingly rolls out of bed and looks smashingly great! She accounts for 1% of the population - so take a deep breath and release your frustration! Lets mimic her al naturale look and say we just rolled out of bed - lets lie through our teeth and make up our faces instead!

To accomplish this easy breezy look you must first illuminate the complexion - smearing on some Smooth Operator will deliver skin perfection!

Next, a light dusting of golden bronzer for a hint of sun kissed glow - hitting the forehead, cheekbones, nose, chin + neck will liven you up, I'll have you know!

Then come the cheeks, the objects of my affection - they should look like they've just been plumped with a coral hued injection!

On to the lashes, which must be quickly curled and painted - keeping the application light, as opposed to Tammy-Fay-saturated!

Finally the lips, I like a shimmering nude - perfect for 'rolling out of bed' with a kitten-ish attitude!

So there you have it, the al naturale look demystified - now haul off to the powderoom and go get beautified!

A Mrs. who partakes in such sport...? You puzzlingly ask. But of course! Everything is fun when you've a flask! Mrs. Lawn Bowler is quite the sporty spice - she loves a good match and her game is quite concise. She comes dressed to play, proudly donning her bowling whites - for it's the pomp + pageantry on the green that she really likes. She plays by the sport rules but always brings the fun - which is why she's known as the "bowling beauty" and is adored by everyone. She'll be the first to win and first back to the clubhouse - where she'll treat her fellow bowlers to a round of drinks and a good healthy rouse!

Last month over an uproarious email exchange with Mister Adler - I professed my adoration for his hubby, Mister Doonan, who couldn't be fabber! Before I knew it our emails became a party of three - with Mister Doonan chiming in it was a full blown jubilee! Next thing I know his latest book arrived on my doorstep - I scooped her right up and hit the deck! What soon followed were riotous fits of laugh-out-loud giggles - indulgent gasps set off by his tongue-in-cheek missiles! From cover to cover I was charmed with naughty delight - shocked, teased and charmed by all it's razor sharp might! Last week over breakfast both Misters and I wildly chatted - recounting the wondrously wayward chapters that are so stupendously slanted! The giggles that ensued were wickedly ferocious - the kind that left onlookers gawking at our boldness. The moral of the story, you really must read this book - I promise when your through, you'll be so thrilled you partook!!!!

I've been bouncing around like a pinball lately - as traveling about is something I fancy greatly. I live to frequent the same destinations - and to each time uncover fabulous new sensations. With Palm Springs being one of my home-away-from-homes - I was giddy to find a new glittering sanctuary with which I may need to call my own. The Saguaro is Palm Spring's newest hotel du jour-she's rocking the vibrant colors, that's for sure! I'm thinking The Saguaro will be my annual April trip's selection - the Cabana Room is just begging for my affection! I've already begun to pack my duffle - I'm planning on blending in and doing the Saguaro Shuffle!

San Diego Magazine's 50 people to watch in 2012

Tonight is a night of festive celebration - there's a big fat party happening in Sahn Diahgo that's slated to be a hit sensation! San Diego Magazine has chosen it's 50 people to watch in 2012 - yours truly happens to be one of them, brace yourself! I'll be mingling about amongst all the fanfare - making nice-nice and hoarding all the glassware. On Location in hawaii with tory burch

What's not to love about mixing sightseeing with pleasure?! Especially when on a tropical island littered with treasures! So... I did a little ditty for the illuminous Tory Burch - she had me partake in a some tropical island research! I skipped around Oahu and visited some of my favorite old haunts - I snapped all kinds of photos all whilst getting bronzed! She's got the full scoop over on her blog - you ought to shimmy on over and give it a nod... without a doubt you'll be gasping "ohmigawd!"

Fresh off the plane from Hawaii and I'm off yet again - but this time it's all business with David, Vanessa and Ken. Mrs. Sail Ho

All aboard!! Make way for Mrs. Sail Ho - she's quite the deck hand, I'll have you know! She can posture on the bow like nobody's business - all the while sailing the seas like a crusty sailor's mistress. You kinda can't help but totally envy her - not only is she ab fab, but she's a high-seas connoisseur!

Mahalo Oahu for being so amazing - the last 2 weeks have been wildly entertaining. The sun and surf were merely magnificent - the years they added onto my life are surely significant! With a sunny glow and a rested mind - I'm ready to get back to my Mrs. grind. While I will certainly miss the sunshine and smell of the sweet air - I know I can close my eyes and transport myself there. As I leave this magical island, there's one thing I'll be keeping - the amazing memories and the spirited "Aloha" feeling!

Mokolua Margarita

My stint in the islands has caused me to rethink - some of the ingredients in my favorite blender drink. After a long arduous day of sunning on the sand - I revised my concoction and came up with a plan. Why not try a tropical spin on my salty Mexican fave? By adding island ingredients you can be surf the Mokolua Margarita wave!!

Mokolua Margarita

1 1/2 cups fresh pineapple chunks

3/4 cup fresh lilikoi juice

1/4 cup fresh lime juice

1 cup tequila

1/2 cup cane sugar syrup

Hawaiian salt

Add pineapple, lilikoi juice, lime juice, tequila and cane sugar syrup to a blender. Blend until smooth, then add 3 cups of ice and blend again. Run a lime wedge around the rim of a saucer and dip into coarse Hawaiian sea salt. Fill up thy cup and sip down the aloha!

We spent our weekend on this amazing, gentle beach - sunning and surfing with copious quenching libations within reach. As sweet, foamy waves lapped softly upon the shore - we waisted the day away under the kind of sunshine you just can't ignore. With the sun kissing my every trouble away - I'm snuggling in the lap of luxury on this spectacular Hawaiian holiday.

I've landed safely and am doing rather swell - in just a few Mai Tais, oh the stories I'll tell! I'm off to unpack and get settled into my quarters - then like a bat out of hell, I'll hit the beach to fulfil my tall orders. I'll send you a post card first thing Monday morning - perhaps a little peek at the things I'm adoring. Till then, sit tight and transport yourself, if you will - to your own little paradise that gives you a thrill!

Can you tell I'm excited... just a little bit? My impending vacation is going to my head, I'll admit it! With T minus one day til my departure - it's my solemn duty to belligerently boast and posture! So on this last day of mainland inhabitance - I'll be struggling to keep my thoughts away from tropical extravagance. I'll belting out new lyrics to old tried and true tunes - marching to the beat of my own drum all afternoon!

Yep. I'm going to Hawaii. Be jealous. VERY jealous! I plan to shimmy about like a tropical heiress! Oahu will be my home for the next 2 weeks - I can't tell you how thrilled I am to get some hot sun on my cheeks!! I've pulled out my traveling trunks and am packing them tight - with all the treasures I'll need from morning until night. While the possibilities are truly endless, the reality is such: a Mrs. doesn't really need much for an island so balmy and lush! One thing is for sure, I'll be bringing you all along - you wouldn't really think I'd leave you go sans my daily sing-song?! Each day whilst away I'll bestow you a tropical treasure - perhaps a tiny peek of my islandy pleasure! So for now, sit back, close your eyes and snuggle up to that warm desk light - and daydream for a moment about my impeding Hawaiian delight!!

Hello 2012

Well, hello there + welcome back - I hope your holiday was a jazzy snap! I've returned to my throne, tending usual Mrs. business - such as postulating my calendar + sharpening my distinctness. With a bevy of treasures blazing hot in my future - this new year is looking pretty darn super! Good things can come in both big and small packages - but it's the beholder who determines them shacks or palaces. May your 2012 be filled with glittering palaces - and may sparkly goodness override the balances.

Blowing the candles out on 2011 - will be done with style, pageantry and boozy intention. With a new year ahead and the horizon glistening bright - I'll be sipping, toasting and counting down with delight!
